Your soap ain’t this CLEAN! HKS IS350

Sorry for being out of the loop once again…

Been busy with LIFE itself.

I wish I had more time of the day to update my website/blog daily.

Promise to make it up to you guys by posting on a weekly basis.

Ok so as I was lurking through my Facebook today, I came across this wall post from my buddy John from CKS Coilovers.

I couldn’t resist myself from not having to post this up on my website by the end of the day!

I just had to post this HKS IS350 up!

By far one of the sykest 2nd Gen IS built by a non industry company.

Honestly, the Voltex spoiler, the fender flares, and the orange CE’s is what really got my attention.

Innovation is a hard thing to come by in our communities. Stayin ahead of the curve, and doing something that truly stands out as an original build is almost impossible, yet there are a select few that manage to have a sixth sense on what should come next. Jeremy is one those few. We have known Jeremy for a very long time and each and every project he has built is clearly one of passion and pride. His current project IS350 is no exception. Custom widebody, custom HKS supercharger  and custom HKS Fcon setup are just a few things to give you an idea of the way he thinks. Nothing is ever out of reach. If he can’t find the parts he wants, he makes ones that work. This kind of dedication is rarely seen anymore, but the payoff is obvious. A “one of a kind” Lexus that as long as he owns will always remain ahead of the curve. We are proud to have this car as our first video feature, and look forward to seeing the evolution of this project

“JUST DO IT.” – Nike

When it comes to the automotive retail industry also classified as the “Import Scene“, there is just by far too much competition IMHO.

(Within Southern, California that is…)

As in…

What shop would you trust enough to take your car into to get that certain part installed, aligned or even trusting the right shop to order parts from at the lowest price possible?

When those certain things come in mind, I can only think of a few shops in Southern California.

1. High End Performance

2. Minds Corp

3. SP-Engineering

4. Evasive Motorsports

Although I have never personally ordered any parts form SP-Engineering & Evasive Motorsports, I know for a fact they are the main US authorized distributors for high end JDM parts over anyone in CA for ex. Voltex

Did I miss any other highly reputable shops when it comes to JDM parts?

In order to survive running a retail automotive shop in this economy, I strongly suggest everyone to step up their game to get more exposure or by taking the next step with their marketing strategies.

Perfect example: Evasive Motorsports new 2011 promo commercial!

Established in 2002, Evasive Motorsports has been dedicated to the import tuning industry. We provide the highest quality performance parts as well as race preparation services and consultation. As fellow automotive enthusiasts, you can trust a company that shares the same love as you. For more information, visit us at http://www.EvasiveMotorsports.com.

Great job guys!

I know when it comes to Redline Time Attack, Evasive Motorsports is highly respected with their record breaking S2000, Evo, and Honda Civic Si.

The “REAL” JDM Altezza

True JDM RHD Altezza in Ukraine.

I recently saw this browsing through my daily forums: www.my.IS

Enough with the jibber jabbering and peep this drift inspired Toyota Altezza!

Aero:
JDM Elixir full kit + Type 2 hood.

(Def. needs to loose the cheap APR canards)

Wheels: 18×9.5 & 18×10.5 SSR Koenig Monsters wrapped in 215/35/18 & 225/35/18

Love the rear fender flare add on similiar to my very own setup!

Side rear view, for a second I would of guessed this being a 240sx S13 hatch!

Cockpit in which you would normally see in a drift inspired vehicle.

SIDE NOTE: To all you NOOBIES, NOOBS, NEWBS, NEWBIES, and BOOBIES this is NOT a LEXUS. It is an genuine Toyota Altezza.
